Beverly Creger

Administrative Assistant — Prepaid Hotel Department

Beverly joined UTD in February 2023, bringing with her over 35 years of travel industry expertise. A pro at credit card authorizations and prepayment processing, she also speaks fluent "hotel lingo." Her previous roles at World Travel and Aladdin Travel honed her skills as a corporate agent and supervisor, mastering everything from airline tickets to building complex manual fares – truly a superpower!

Beverly may have stumbled into the travel industry "totally by accident" but has ended up loving every moment of it. After all these years, her top priority is still customer service. Proficient in Amadeus and Worldspan, she served as a go-to for colleagues needing help with complicated fares. While no longer an agent, her deep understanding of back-end processes ensures seamless service for UTD's clients.

Outside of work, this grandmother of three and great-great aunt to nine is a devoted Southern cook who remains the dedicated President of her high school class of 1974. "I am from a small town, and we genuinely like each other," says Beverly. In addition to continuing to organize her annual class reunion, she is an active volunteer at her church where she gives of her time and culinary talent. Her favorite places to travel include:

  • Alaska — "Beautiful beyond description and wildlife, including grizzlies, are abundant," she says.

  • The Mountain West — Traveling by car through National Parks in Utah, "The beauty of the red rocks, arches, and formations seemed as if we were on another planet," she says. And in Wyoming, "The annual Cheyenne Frontier Day rodeos were REAL."

  • Quebec City — "It’s like going to France without going to France," says Beverly. "I have been to Germany, North Switzerland, and London but I still prefer Quebec City."

As for where she's headed next, "I would love to go to Hawaii or on a cruise," says Beverly. "There’s so much beauty to see in the U.S., I’m not sure traveling internationally again is on my radar."

From organizing reunions to exploring new horizons, Beverly's commitment to community and discovery perfectly aligns with the attentive, customer-centric approach she brings to her work at UTD.
